Tuesday Night Boardgames

In 2009 we were asked to come out to a local gaming event sponsored by COGS (Central Oregon Gaming Society) and demo some games out at the various restaurants they would meet at.
It quickly became more convenient to meet at our store, where there were no time restrictions and less hassle then in other public venues.
Since then we have kept the tradition alive and now have a weekly boardgame night open to all who wish to try out new games, share their games or just meet new people interested in gaming. We start our night officially after closing at 7pm on Tuesdays and run until people give out and go home. We do ask that you are 21 or older as the tradition from moving from restaurants and pubs leads people to bring alcohol at times.
Demos for younger players are gladly given at other times. But if you are new to town, lost touch with your gaming buddies or just want to bring your friends to learn about new games before you purchase, then this is the event for you.

Wednesday Night RPG

Many people asked us if we support role playing games? Well, we had a night for board games, so we made a night for role playing as well. We have a few experience DMS, GMS and Runners that will demo various role playing game systems as well.
As for right now we run Dungeons and Dragons Encounters events and a separate nonDungeons and Dragons game each week.
Playing spaces are sadly limited but we are looking to get more players and more people to run various games to participate. All games are considered demos however and are made with the intent of getting people together in the community, show people various game systems and teach them how to run ther own successful campaigns. Although their willalways be at least one campaign running, players are encouraged to venture forth and run thier own games as well. RPGs are a unquie and fun experience but differ then most competative games and all games share a sense of cooperation. Players must play well together in the sandbox, and disruptive, or argumentative behavior while welcome as good roleplaying on occassion, WILL NOT be tolerated for games run in the store.
